So I was making soup, and you know how when you make stock after you put in the fridge you skim the fat off? Well I put that fat in jars, to use elsewhere.

So I pull out my 1/4 full jar of fat, and I start to heat it so it will homogenize. And the glass cracks. Then the fat spills on the stove. Do you know what happens when low water content fat hits a flame? That’s right! A grease fire!

This dumb bitch started a grease fire making soup.

Nothing burned down. I killed the gas and let it burn while I opened the window and waited with the extinguisher in case it spread. It didn’t.
